Our School
Bharathi Tamil School is dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning the language Tamil. We have initiated our journey in 2012, committed to teaching Tamil in South Windsor and neighboring towns of Hartford, Manchester, Ellington, Vernon, East Hartford & Enfield.

Our mission is to empower students with the knowledge of the Tamil language and values to preserve and promote its rich cultural heritage. Our curriculum, designed and planned by the International Tamil Academy (ITA), covers grades from Preschool through Grade 8. Students receive a diploma from the ITA upon successfully completing Grade 8. This curriculum engages students and fosters a deep understanding of our mother language - Tamil.

Along with the education we are also associating the kids with cultural programs, traditional celebrations, and arts and crafts sessions help students appreciate and practice in Tamil Language. We are well equipped with latest education technology and vast library with wide range of books, journals and digital resources.

Our school is recognized by Connecticut Tamil Sangam (non-profit organization) with the unity of the Tamil community. The entire school is run by the parent volunteering who take on roles as teachers, assistant teachers, educational officers, exam coordinators, evaluation officers, librarians, technology officers and administrators throughout the academic year.
